There are a few reasons that I love this woman so much:
- She was the quintessential flapper
- She was a great writer & artist in her own right
- She made F. Scott WORK to get her to marry him
- She would swim in nude-colored swimsuits so that she looked naked
- Rumor that I hope is true: Zelda pulled the fire alarm at a hotel she was staying at, and when the fire-fighters came and asked where the fire was, Zelda pointed to her breasts and said, “Right here, boys!”
- She provided the name & elegance for Princess Zelda of The Legend of Zelda fame
